Working on Bee-ing ME!

You can spot me always taking the scenic route! I have learned patience and to live in the moment.

I am a work in progress and student of life. I have FAITH my best work is something I haven’t done yet!

TLSF comes from all my initials, the things that inspire and the spots and dots I wear and earned over the years! Yep, those freckles are sometimes filtered by makeup and and magic, but mostly because I have upgraded my skincare and sun protection.

Using what I have, being grateful for my daily opportunities and always making lemonade!

Having a coaching sesh with Mother Nature. ’cause I’m a Taurus

Self-selected cake for my 53rd birthday in the year 2020.

I’m all about using your super powers ladies. Truth time, it was a choice of Wonder Woman & a traditional white cake w/ pink rosettes……naturally Diana Spencer won!

Crocheting hero bears with my mom during COVID and her multiple illnesses. This one was for my talented stylist who keeps my hairs perfectly red. She was gifted to at my first post lockdown appointment. It wasn’t planned but hair bear twinned with me like most of my creations do. My heat and soul goes into everything I do.

Portia and Jeffrey Yarn Bomb installation I designed at the Maritime Explorium in Port Jefferson, NY. I am thankful for the 6 ladies and my mom who crocheted with me and helped bring this fun fiber art exhibit to life in 2016 that ran for 2 years.

It took the team 3 months start to finish to make the elements and bring the piece to life. Lots of testing of our engineering ideas so the work could withstand all the visitor hugs and weather challenges.

Most of us had previously volunteered to crochet pieces for Carol Hummel’s trees exhibit at Avalon Preserve and the Long Island Museum in Stony Brook, NY. Carol is the queen of yarn bombing.

Some random moments of my adventures, not 2 days are alike.
